Achievements: As an international conservation NGO we - with the invaluable help of our volunteers - have successfully produced many tangible conservation and development achievements, including biodiversity research and community development projects, with over 500 publications in both peer-reviewed journals and the in-house Frontier Environmental Report Series.
In-country partners: We are closely linked to the countries we operate in through host-country partnerships with academic institutions, government departments and local NGOSs, with a permanent presence at the locations of our long-term conservation and development projects.
Qualifications: We offer unique vocational accredited BTEC qualifications - the Tropical Habitat Conservation Diploma is taught and assessed at a similar level to an A Level and the Tropical Habitat Conservation Certificate and Expedition Management certificate are taught and assessed at a similar level to AS Levels, as well as PADI diving (Advanced Open Water included in marine expeditions with options to train up to Divemaster) and TEFL training and certificate. On our Game Ranger courses we offer the Field Guide Association of South Africa (FGASA) Level 1 certificate, enabling entry into the guiding industry.
