Saint-Gobain Glass is Europe's leading glass supplier and world leader in soft-coat technology with our energy efficient SGG Planitherm range.

Saint-Gobain Glass is one of the major Divisions of the Saint-Gobain Group.
The Group employs some 170,500 employees across 40 countries.

So where do you come in?

This role involves all elements of supporting the technical process in the plant, responsibilities include

 Key Responsibility Areas:
 To be responsible for Health, Safety and Environment
 Risk Assessments
 Environmental compliance.
 Product Development
 Perform testing routines on new coated products
 Assist in execution of coating line trials
 To assess technical performance of coated product in transformation process
 Plan, perform and report on transformation exercises for all coated products.
 Conduct tests in all relevant applications of coated glass transformation.
 To be responsible for the technical performance of the coating line
 Achievement of required yield
 Monitoring of trends
 To ensure the quality of the product
 Quality loss targets
 Maintenance of quality testing ISO procedure system
 Employ testing techniques
 Conduct testing regimes

What you need to demonstrate?
This role requires a technical background, either Chemistry, Physics or Materials science. An exposure to a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
