Our 2008 CIMA Graduate Finance Scheme is an exciting and challenging opportunity for bright enthusiastic Financial graduate who can become an outstanding manager within ABP.
What is exciting about this role?
This is a fantastic opportunity for Financial Graduates to get involved in a business from top to bottom. We want to give you responsibility from day one; you will be working on projects to gaining skills and experience.
Your development will be personal as well as technical. We want you to be taking the lead in situations and have a positive impact in our business. You will be supported in achieving your CIMA qualification.

ABP is the leading supplier of beef and lamb products in the UK. Through our fresh and frozen divisions we are a preferred supplier to major retailers and food service companies in the UK. As a company have a down-to-earth attitude - both in the way they approach a problem and the way they interact with other people.
So where do you come in?
Your role will be developing your skills in the Financial function of our business. You will be continuing your training so you can take responsibility for short term issues as well as long term strategy overcoming Financial issues in ABP throughout the UK.
Your role will be challenging and exciting. You will be working towards your CIMA qualification. We want you to have the confidence to take real responsibility developing into a management accounting role.
You shall be based out of our Doncaster.

What you need to demonstrate?
You must have a Financial, Economics, or Accountancy background, and strong academics – 2.2 minimum.
You should have experience with the practical side of Finance, bookkeeping, accounts, payroll etc…. This can come from work experience or industrial placements. We want people who aren’t afraid to get stuck in.
You should also have around Finance ability, if you have a passion for numbers and respect the importance of data then this is an essential quality. We want someone with all-round skills and passion throughout the Financial function.
Strong communication skills and team work are a must. You will be communicating with a variety of departments and individuals’ so being adaptable and personable is important at ABP.
A driving license and own car would be beneficial for the role as travel to various key projects is common.
