UNDERGRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
12 MONTH WORK PLACEMENT
Location: Kent, Cumbria and Flintshire
Salary: £15,000 + benefits
Closing date: 11/03/2008
We offer exciting opportunities to gain practical ‘hands on experience’ within a global and professional, organisation. As part of an engineering team at our one of our mills in Flintshire, Kent or Cumbria you will be assigned your own individual and specific objectives and are likely to be involved in a variety of exciting projects. We believe this is a great foundation should you wish to be considered for our European Graduate Programme at a later stage.
WHAT WE OFFER
Salary £15,000
25 days holiday pro rata
Relocation assistance
Starting bonus of £2,500 on successful completion of a work placement year and an offer of a place on our Graduate programme
AREAS YOU WILL COVER
Power distribution
Motor controls (including state of the art sectional drives on high speed machinery)
PLC control of complex, high speed, manufacturing processes
Instrumentation and distributed process control systems
System networking and information gathering & reporting systems
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate studying for an Electrical/Controls Engineering Degree
Fluent in English
A strong numerical ability
Second European language ideal
Ability to demonstrate leadership potential/skills
A strong team player
